  My life has always been greatly influenced by music, which I use as a means of inspiration, comfort, and self-expression. I can't help but think about how gender and music are deeply connected as I move around the world of music. This relationship spans several areas, including the depiction of gender in song lyrics, industry dynamics, and the influence of music on gender identity and empowerment. The ability of song lyrics to sway people's notions of gender has me overwhelmed whenever I listen to music.   Hi everyone! I’m Malik Bromell, and I’m a basketball player at Converse university. I’ve been playing basketball since middle school l. I started really taking basketball seriously in my senior year and then that’s when I got my first offer from converse. But I have been playing basketball for a long time but it just took me a minute to really get good at it.
